10 years ago on July 18th, 2008, Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” hit theaters. This bat-sequel set a new bar for the superhero genre, and featured one of the most iconic movie performances of all time by Heath Ledger as the Clown Prince of Crime. This image pays tribute to film, the actor who gave it life, and the comic book that made it all possible.

This is a photo manipulation to the official first look at Hellboy from the upcoming live action reboot. As great as David Harbour looks as the character, I wanted to see if I could make him even more accurate to Mike Mignola's comic book artwork.

When it was announced that Batman was going to be featured in the sequel to 2013's Man of Steel, fans speculated which actor was going to dawn the cape and cowl. At the time, my pick was actor Gabriel Macht. I made this concept for how he could look as the character. After posting it on a news site, the image eventually reached Gabriel Macht himself, which led to him leaving a nice little tweet about it.

This is just a quick color edit to the latest reveal of Misty Knight from Luke Cage Season 2. The intention here was to make her appear more comic book accurate by sporting her with the classic golden bionic arm and full red attire.

The batsuit from 1997's Batman & Robin edited with Batman's classic color scheme from the comics.

The Crimson Chin from Fairly OddParents is known to never reveal his true face. While we may never know what is really under that cowl of his, I believe this is the closest we'll ever get to seeing what the chintastic hero really looks like. To get the most accurate results, I used images from The Crimson Chin's origin as "Chuck Indigo" as my main source of inspiration.
